Course overview
The Fire Safety Order 2005 places certain fire precaution responsibilities on employers. One of these responsibilities involves carrying out a risk assessment. A suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment will help you to ascertain the chances of a fire occurring and the potential dangers involved. This course introduces delegates to the fire risk assessment process, using sample fire risk assessments to highlight common fire risks and their controls.

This course is suitable for those responsible for carrying out basic initial, or reviewing existing, fire risk assessments.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will have a greater understanding of fire risk assessment.
Assessment
Delegates will complete a 20 question multiple choice examination and if successful they will receive a certificate of attendance.
Duration
12 hours (normally 2 days). This course can be run in-house for up to 8 delegates.
